Calla lilies have made a recent resurgence in the flower market. We carry Miniatures in a rainbow of colors from our vendor partners all over the world. Until recently, the available standard callas were tightly rolled white Callas from South America. Now Dillon Floral is pleased to grow a regal, large and open flowered specimen. Besides the characteristic mammoth white flower, our stems are longer than any import you’ll find. Callas are available from our greenhouses from about February to May. We sell our Callas by the stem and also sell the beautiful, large Calla foliage in bunches of three leaves. Callas are not ethylene sensitive and should be stored in the cooler at 33 – 35 degrees F. The thick stems will split and curl and inch or two at the cut and this is normal. In your shop, they should receive a fresh cut and be placed in a professional preservative that contains a bactericide.
